We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a key role within a fast‑paced environment responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting supporting operational decision‑making and driving business performance.
You will take ownership of management and financial accounts providing insightful analysis and ensuring robust financial controls are maintained.
About YouKey Responsibilities
Management Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and deliver P&L and balance sheet analysis with clear commentary on key variances.
- Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Conduct margin and revenue analysis including rebates.
Systems Processes & Controls
- Maintain strong financial controls to ensure accuracy compliance and audit readiness.
- Drive continuous process improvements within finance and across the wider business.
- Leverage BI ERP and reporting tools to streamline reporting and enhance data quality.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate across finance teams including transactional and FP&A to deliver complete and timely financial information.
- Build strong relationships with budget holders and key stakeholders to support informed decision‑making.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) ideal for a first‑time mover from practice.
- Strong knowledge of FRS
102 including preparation and review of statutory accounts. - Excellent analytical skills with commercial insight.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
