• Shape the Function: Lead the development of an in-house finance capability, establishing the systems, processes and reporting structures that underpin group growth.

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations across multiple entities within the group.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts, budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Lead year‑end reporting, audits and statutory compliance.
• Develop and implement effective financial systems, controls and processes.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and leadership team, providing clear financial insight to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with portfolio management teams to enhance forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with investment and asset teams on project appraisals, financing and performance tracking.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, banks and lenders on funding and investment matters.

• Support on acquisitions, disposals and investment structuring.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and returns.
• Assist with due diligence, integration and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies.
• Provide analysis on deal returns, capital deployment and overall group performance.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with in private equity, investment, family office or multi‑entity group environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and consolidations.
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
• Hands‑on and adaptable, able to thrive in a developing environment.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
