Smile Education are proud to be working in close partnership with the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust, supporting recruitment across all seven of their schools. We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teacher to join one of their secondary schools located in Wolverhampton.
This role is to begin immediately for half a term, with the potential for extension depending on school needs and performance.
About the Role:
- Teaching and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Adapting teaching approaches to suit individual learning needs
- Planning and marking work in line with school policies
- Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborating with school staff, SENCOs, and support workers
The school is open to candidates with either Primary or Secondary experience, due to the broad needs of the students.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Experience working with SEND students – essential
- Able to plan and mark effectively
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or willing to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education
- Minimum of two professional references covering the past 24 months, including comments on your interaction with children
- Willingness to work between 3 and 5 days per week
- Commitment to upholding school values and promoting a safe, supportive classroom culture
