Salary: £95 - 110 per day, dependent on experience
Temporary Contract, ongoing position

PRU Behaviour Support Specification
We are looking for an experienced PRU Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a Behaviour school in the Wolverhampton area, where you will be working with students with SEMH and SEBD needs.
This is to start September 2025 and will run ongoing as a full-time position.
To be considered, you should have prior experience as a PRU TA a strong understanding of the SEND school curriculum, be committed and proactive in working with challenging young adults.
You must be a qualified behaviour support or Teaching Assistant
Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
Have experience working in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained
DBS on the update service
PRU/SEMH/SEBD experience
Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners
The school is looking for a PRU Behaviour Support
The school offers dedicated support to young people with behavioural challenges and mental health needs. As such, prior experience in a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) TA role is essential, along with the ability to support students with a broad range of needs. Success in this role requires strong rapport-building skills and a deep understanding of individual differences.
This is a fast-paced environment that demands a quick-thinking, efficient, and adaptable team player to effectively support both students and staff. The role focuses on secondary-aged learners, particularly those in Key Stage 3 (KS3), providing tailored in-class and one-on-one support. Previous experience working with behavioural difficulties is expected.
