The Role

You will be an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who:

  • Is a talented and creative teacher with experience of teaching in both Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Is committed to raising standards and can identify and address underperformance in school
  • Is able to lead and develop a creative approach to curriculum planning
  • Has experience or aspiration to lead subject areas and contribute to curriculum and assessment development
  • Has a good knowledge of assessment and is able to take a leading role in assessment practice and data analysis across school
  • Has high expectations of self and others and can motivate, inspire and work alongside others to raise standards
  • Has experience of teaching Phonics using the Ruth Miskin Read Write Inc scheme

Establish a positive, supportive learning environment using strong behaviour management and restorative approaches. Work collaboratively as part of a reflective and supportive staff team. Uphold and model our values of care, respect and endurance.
