Teacher of Food
Are you a creative and passionate teacher who inspires students through the art and science of cooking? Moreton School is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join our thriving Design and Technology faculty.
Students study Food at KS3 and progress to the WJEC Level 1/2 Vocational Award in Hospitality and Catering at KS4, a practical, industry-focused qualification equivalent to a GCSE.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging practical and theory lessons in Food Technology to develop student confidence, independence, and curiosity about healthy living and the wider hospitality industry.
- Collaborate with the subject lead and wider team to implement the existing curriculum.
- Support both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a strong programme of mentoring and professional development.
- Contribute to a curriculum that offers breadth and ambition, alongside strong pastoral support to keep students safe and well looked after.

Competitive salary on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
