School Counselor, Academic Counselor
The University of Wolverhampton offers a series of exciting online masters' programmes which are open to students the world over. We areseekingto significantly expand our pool of zero hours casual contracts (hourly rate is £32.01) to support our growing student body. Successful applicants will join a vibrant team of experts who will be called upon as needed to support our six yearly intakes of students who currently support psychology, public health, MBA, and computer science students at Masters level.
MainDuties
- Providing students with pastoral support
- Sign posting students to relevant support services
- Liaising with the wider university to support students
- Supporting student to navigate their studies
- Developing study plans to support students in completing their degrees
- Triaging student requests
- Timely and courteous response to online correspondence from students, and the wider online faculty team.
- Working collegiately within an online faculty team.
We are seeking enthusiastic dedicated individuals for the above roles who hold a minimum of a Master level qualification in one of the discipline areas outlined above, or a relevant discipline, or have equivalent experience. Experience of providing academic or pastoral support, ideally to online students would be an advantage.
