Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Secondary Teacher (General Cover) to join a warm, ambitious and inclusive Secondary Special School in Wolverhampton.

The Role As a General Cover Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects
Adapt teaching to meet diverse SEND needs
Provide structure, consistency and high expectations
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching secondary-aged students
Experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND
Strong behaviour management skills
A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach
Commitment to full-time, long-term work
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
References covering the past 2 years
