Secondary English Teacher

Salary: £90 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will inspire and engage secondary school students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4), delivering creative and high-quality lessons that foster a love for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
Inspire students to achieve their potential in both written and spoken English.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching.
The Ideal Candidate :
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills.
Available to start immediately.
