We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and has high expectations of themselves and the children they teach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a wonderful group of pupils and contribute to their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum for a mixed Year 3 & 4 class.
  • Uphold and implement the school's trauma-informed and responsive policies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and families to promote wellbeing and positive learning outcomes.
  • Adopt inclusive approaches to education, ensuring that all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access and succeed in learning.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively, using data to inform planning and interventions.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct, safeguarding, and pupil welfare at all times.
  • Contribute actively to the wider life of the school, including events, enrichment activities, and collaborative projects.
  • Engage in professional development, reflecting on practice and seeking opportunities for growth in line with the Teachers' Standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, fostering positive partnerships to support pupil progress.
