Supply Star Recruitment are seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Teacher of Geography to join our clients Humanities department on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about geography and inspiring young people.
The Role
* Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progress
* Contributing to the wider work of the Humanities department
* Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement and inclusion
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent recognised in the UK)
* Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
