Permanent | Term Time Only | 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday 11.30 am‑1.30 pm)
Grade 2 (SCP 2‑3) | FTE Salary: £24,413 – £24,796 | Actual Salary: £5,675.23 – £5,764.30

Job Responsibilities- Supervising children at lunchtimes, including pupils with special educational needs.
- Supervising children in the playground area.
- Attending to pupils’ personal needs and implementing related programmes including social, health, physical, hygiene, first‑aid and welfare matters.
- Supporting pupils’ safety and access to learning, including cleaning up spillage and waste.
- Establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding appropriately to individual needs.
- Ensuring pupils are supported to eat a balanced and nutritious meal, with adult assistance when required.
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in play.
- Encouraging pupils to act independently where appropriate.
- Being sensitive to learners’ disabilities and showing empathy for changing needs.
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoy being with children.
- Positive and hardworking attitude.
- High standards of cleanliness and willingness to assist in keeping the dining hall clean and tidy.
- Punctual, reliable and flexible working approach.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience not essential; full training will be provided.
