Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists to deliver general ophthalmology outpatient clinics on an ongoing basis across the West Midlands. This opportunity is suitable for consultants looking to undertake additional outpatient work alongside their substantive post.
- Deliver general ophthalmology outpatient clinics
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions
- Maintain high standards of patient-centred care and clinical governance
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
- GMC registered Consultant Ophthalmologist
- On the GMC Specialist Register
- Must hold a substantive Consultant post
- Proven experience in general ophthalmology outpatient clinics
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy clinic list
