Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, based primarily across the West Midlands
. The role involves taking day‑to‑day control of site operations, managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required standard. You’ll be responsible for planning and organising site activities, monitoring progress, and maintaining strong health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is comfortable running busy groundworks sites and taking ownership of delivery.

Required Qualifications
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • First Aid at Work
Desirable / Bonus Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Site Management
  • Other recognised qualifications or degrees in construction, civil engineering, or site management
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in a Site Manager role
  • Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering
  • Good understanding of planning, cost control, and site budgets
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractors effectively
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and site compliance
  • Comfortable using site and project management systems (IT‑literate)
