Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Early Years) – NEW NURSERY - Tettenhall, Wolverhampton
Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Tettenhall, WV3 9PE
Salary: £13.40 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays
We are seeking an experienced early years professional who is:
- Level 3 qualified in Early Years (full and relevant)
- Experienced in a children’s day nursery setting
- Confident in delivering the EYFS and supporting children with SEND
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Passionate about building strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Excited about helping establish outstanding practice in a newly opened nursery
- Committed to providing high‑quality, child-led care and education
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Act as a Key Person, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
- Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive and inspiring nursery environment
- Support Ofsted standards and take an active role in shaping the nursery as it grows
- Contribute to establishing routines, best practice and a warm team culture
