Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 Early Years) – NEW NURSERY - Tettenhall, Wolverhampton

Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Tettenhall, WV3 9PE

Salary: £13.40 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced early years professional who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years (full and relevant)
  • Experienced in a children’s day nursery setting
  • Confident in delivering the EYFS and supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Passionate about building strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Excited about helping establish outstanding practice in a newly opened nursery
  • Committed to providing high‑quality, child-led care and education
Your Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Act as a Key Person, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive and inspiring nursery environment
  • Support Ofsted standards and take an active role in shaping the nursery as it grows
  • Contribute to establishing routines, best practice and a warm team culture
