Job Description

• Manage procurement processes in line with organisational policies and legal requirements.
• Identify and engage with suppliers to ensure the best value for goods and services.
• Monitor contracts to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
• Prepare and analyse tender documents to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure continuity and quality of service.
• Provide advice and guidance on procurement matters to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for procurement activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and relevant regulations.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in procurement and supply chain.
• Proficiency in managing contracts and supplier relationships effectively.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare detailed reports to aid decision-making.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
