Strategic Sourcing Manager

As we continue to grow we are looking for a proactive Strategic Sourcing Manager to optimize our sourcing and procurement operations. This role will focus on identifying alternative suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring cost savings for the company. This role will initially concentrate on sourcing and procurement with the potential to expand into export operations as the role evolves.

• Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers to ensure the best cost, quality and delivery terms.
• Negotiate pricing contracts and terms with suppliers to maximize cost efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices and global supply chain dynamics to make informed sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand product demand and sourcing requirements.
• Work closely with logistics, warehouse, finance and data teams to streamline supply chain operations.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, purchase orders and sourcing analytics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Plan and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product quality.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings and supplier performance.

• Qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and cost optimisation skills.
• Knowledge of import/export processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
