The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing audit team. This role will suit a qualified accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career, gaining increased responsibility for managing client relationships and supporting the delivery of high-quality audit services.

You will begin to take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, with support from senior management, while contributing to the team’s revenue and profitability targets. The role also offers the opportunity to develop strong, long-term relationships with clients across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, often on-site at client premises

* Assisting with the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments

* Ensuring audit files contain appropriate and sufficient supporting documentation

* Preparing statutory financial statements from client-provided data

* Identifying and highlighting potential risk areas or matters of concern to senior management

* Supporting the finalisation of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review

* Coaching and mentoring junior members of the audit team

About You

* ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent)

* Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

* Proven experience auditing clients across a range of industries

* Experience supervising, mentoring or coaching junior staff

* Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
