Machine Operator

Overview

CoWorx Staffing is actively seeking experienced Machine Operators in the Waterbury area and all surrounding towns.

Location: Wolcott, Connecticut

• To monitor assigned equipment for malfunction. Report any malfunction to supervisor.
• Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Remove finished product from machine. Add oils, medias and materials to machines as instructed.
• General housekeeping of assigned areas. Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Conduct in-process checks such as weights, temperatures, lot verification, and quality measurements in alignment with GMP/HACCP standards.
• Perform start-up, changeover, and shutdown procedures in accordance with company SOPs and industry regulations.
• Assist with routine preventive maintenance and communication of equipment concerns proactively.
• Satisfactorily completes SQF annual training session(s) covering Good Manufacturing

• Experience Operating Machinery
• Oral Communication
• legible handwriting
• Physical dexterity
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use basic measurement devices

• Temp to hire and Direct Hire positions available
• 1st and 2nd shifts
