Our client is a multi-site organisation with a turnover of c £25m, operating across the UK and continuing to expand through strategic acquisitions. With an ambitious growth plan and a supportive leadership team, they are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function and play a pivotal role in supporting future success.
The RoleAs Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, providing analysis that drives performance, and supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses. This role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and operational leaders, giving you the chance to add real commercial value in a fast‑paced environment.
What will the role involve?- Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, consolidations, and board packs
- Providing variance analysis, commentary, and KPIs to support decision-making
- Business partnering with operational teams across multiple sites
- Supporting acquisitions and integration of new businesses into the group structure
- Cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and covenant reporting
- Involvement in budgeting, reforecasting, and longer‑term financial planning
- Continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
- Supporting and mentoring junior finance colleagues
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong management accounting and analysis experience
- Exposure to multi‑site, acquisitive, or PE‑backed environments advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and partner senior stakeholders
- Proactive, commercially minded, and confident working in a fast‑changing business
