We’re looking for an inspiring leader to join our amazing team as an Assistant Nursery Manager on a maternity cover contract (up to 12 months) starting February 2026, at our Winnersh nursery. If you’re passionate about early years, love supporting people, and have the drive to help a nursery grow and thrive, we’d love to hear from you. Working alongside the Nursery Manager, you’ll help lead the team, ensure the highest quality of care and education, and play a key role in promoting the nursery and managing occupancy.

• Lead Quality and Compliance:
  Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, EYFS, and legislative requirements through high-quality practice, regular audits, and hands-on support in rooms.
• Inspire and Support the Team:
  Engage actively with children’s learning and development while guiding, developing, and supporting staff across all areas — from daily practice to performance and wellbeing.
• Drive Success and Growth:
  Work closely with the Nursery Manager to manage budgets, occupancy, and staffing, contributing to a thriving, high-quality setting for children and families.

Our spacious, purpose-built nursery is conveniently located in the heart of IQ Winnersh business park, with excellent access to the M4 and just a short walk from the train station. We are within easy reach of Winnersh, Wokingham and Woodley. Inside, our bright, airy rooms feature free-flow access to outdoor gardens, where each age group has its own allocated garden space.

Our newly renovated garden space provides a wonderful environment for sensory and exploratory play.
