About our Clients

Our clients have a lovely Nursery in Winnersh and are looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to support the daily running of the nursery. This role is initially a maternity cover post, working a 40 hr week with salary c £33k plus great benefits.

Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted requirements.

tribute to the planning and delivery of EYFS curriculum.

Lead and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Maintain strong relationships with children and families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.

Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years/Childcare.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within a day nursery.
  • Experience in a management role, leading and supporting a team.
  • Understanding of Ofsted requirements and up-to-date knowledge of changes in Ofsted or the curriculum.
  • A genuine love for working with children and commitment to providing the best start in life.
  • Solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a proactive approach.
  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources, and experiences offered to children.
