Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team within the Lynton Veterinary Group for a Fixed Term Contract maternity cover from January 2026 until February 2027 on a part‑time basis.
About Lynton Veterinary GroupLynton Veterinary Group is a well‑established small animal veterinary group based in Woking, Bagshot and Addlestone. We recently relocated to a new, purpose‑built facility in Woking and continue to invest in our other two practices. Our clinics are equipped with state‑of‑the‑art clinical equipment including dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary Equipment (VVS), visiting specialist surgeons, laparoscopic spays and more. We also operate a purpose‑built grooming salon at our main site and are widely respected for providing the highest level of service to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a large group of veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Provide support and training to our SVN’s.
- Oversee clinical duties such as anaesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, nurse consultations, drug dispensing, laboratory work, and maintaining a sterile work environment.
- Manage the 27‑hour working week: 5 days a week, 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00‑4:30 p.m., with no out‑of‑hours coverage.
- Ensure smooth operation of the daily rota and support staff well‑being initiatives.
- Previous proven leadership skills in a clinical setting.
- Excellent clinical competence and strong communication skills.
