Job Title: Casual Driver
Location: Wisley RHS Garden
Salary: 12.21 per hour
Contract: Zero-hour contract; working across venues with 7‑day operation. Weekend and evening work required.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our busy catering team at Wisley RHS Garden on a flexible, zero‑hour basis. As part of the logistics department, you will support the smooth and efficient movement of goods across the site and assist with day‑to‑day operational requirements.
Responsibilities include supporting food and non‑food deliveries, delivering RHS milk to designated units, ensuring goods are stored safely and organised, reviewing stock levels in line with trade forecasts, accurately recording all stock movements on transfer sheets, putting goods away, collecting containers, cardboard and waste from units, maintaining clean and organised delivery areas, keeping vehicles clean inside and out, replacing seasonal and promotional signage, supporting event and pop‑up set‑up and breakdown, and carrying out any other reasonable operational duties as requested by managers or supervisors.

Due to the location of Wisley RHS Garden, it is essential that you are able to get to and from site without relying on public transport.
ShiftsShifts will vary between Monday to Sunday. Due to the nature of the business, successful candidates should be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends. This is a casual zero‑hour role, so hours will vary depending on the needs of the business on a weekly basis.
The Ideal Candidate- Reliable, punctual and flexible, including weekends and evenings
- Previous experience in a driving, logistics, warehouse or similar operational role
- Experience in manual labour or physically demanding work, ideally
- Confident lifting and moving stock safely in line with manual handling guidelines
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when recording stock transfers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in maintaining clean delivery areas and vehicles
