Area Sales Manager – Radiators, Plumbing and Heating

Compact Radiators, Heating Merchants, Plumbing Merchants, Heating Merchants, Retail Showrooms, Kitchen Showrooms, Bathroom Retailers and Builders Merchants.

Areas to be covered: 1 x North London (Northern Home Counties down to the Thames), 1 x South London (incl. Southern HCs down to South Coast).

• Field sales roles covering London and the South East.
• Sell a distributed range of heating products: 85% compact radiators, 15% designer radiators (in stainless steel) and traditional towel rails.
• Field sales position selling to a mix of national and independent plumbers merchants, heating merchants, builders merchants and independent kitchen and bathroom retailers.
• North London area available due to an upcoming retirement;
  South London growth.
• Deal with order values ranging from £500 to £50k depending on project sizes.
• 75% of your time account‑managing existing key accounts, 25% developing new business opportunities.
• Hundreds of independent plumbers merchants, heating merchants, builders merchants and independent kitchen and bathroom retailers on patch, offering a fantastic opportunity for growth and to make a name for yourself.

• 12+ months of field sales experience in the heating, plumbing or bathroom industry.
• Preferably working for a manufacturer.
• Have sold to heating merchants, plumbers merchants, builders merchants or independent kitchen and bathroom retailers.
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating or bathroom associated products such as radiators, boilers, heating controls, heating cylinders, showers, taps, towel rails, sanitaryware advantageous (not essential).
• Drive and determination.
• Self‑starter.
• No journey men / leaflet droppers.
