• Prepare, cook, and present meals for patients and staff in line with Sodexo and client recipes, ensuring timely service and meeting dietary requirements.
• Maintain strict compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and efficient, including dishwashing and taking charge on alternate weekends.
• Provide a friendly, welcoming service in the staff restaurant and accurately record food waste, cleaning logs, and temperature checks.
• Monitor food stock by checking expiry dates, disposing of out-of-date items, and completing ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and experience as a chef.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Clear, respectful communication and a strong team spirit.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also individually (lone working on weekends).
