We specialise in subcontract machining complex components and assemblies for demanding applications and harsh environments. We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Grinder to join our team. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of CNC grinding, including programming, setting, and operating. T&G is prepared to train CNC grinders to use our Studer grinding machines.
- Use measuring equipment to verify component specifications.
- Produce programs on the machine for new products as they arrive.
- Work on highly complex components with strict adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and compliance with technical documentation.
- Maintain quality and safety standards, ensuring that programs and tooling are stored in their correct locations.
- Essential experience in high-end CNC grinding.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings with GD&T.
- Experience operating machines in our CNC Studer Cell, which includes four Studer models: S21, S31, S40 (all with C Axis), and a brand new S31/1000 Studer Cylindrical Grinder with C Axis.
- Strong organisational skills.

Full-time hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break), and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (no lunch break).
Overtime during the week and on Saturdays is paid at time and a half.
We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, along with 23 days of holiday entitlement per year, in addition to English public/bank holidays.
You will automatically be enrolled in our company pension scheme, subject to standard conditions for new employees.

This position is onsite in West Byfleet, Surrey.
