IT Technician

Overview

The IT Technician will provide high-quality technical support to pupils, staff and parents within a busy IT department supporting up to 1,500 users. Reporting to the Head of IT, this full-time role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, managing pupil laptops from Year 3 upwards, and ensuring the effective use of digital technologies that support teaching and learning.

• Provide first/second line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Maintain and configure pupil laptops and classroom technologies.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to pupils, staff and parents.
• Support school-wide IT projects and contribute to the smooth operation of IT systems.

• Experience as an IT technician or in a first/second line support role, ideally within the education sector.
• Effective communicator able to work independently and as part of a team in a structured, process‑driven environment.
