Location: Old Woking

As the HR and Recruitment Advisor, you will design and deliver strategies that are efficient, compliant and candidate‑focused, leveraging data insights and technology to improve processes. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help build a workforce that reflects our communities and supports long‑term organisational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed proactive candidate attraction and positive action strategies to diversify talent pipelines.
  • Standardise manager training and maintain an up‑to‑date interviewer list across the Service.
  • Strengthen data‑led decision making to refine recruitment campaigns and improve candidate experience.
  • Support workforce planning and talent pool development in partnership with Learning and Development.
  • Deliver recruitment training, maintain interviewer capability and interpret recruitment data to improve processes.
  • Advise managers on recruitment best practice and compliance, including Right to Work checks.
  • Lead positive action initiatives to support Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
  • Facilitate internal promotions via the ATS (Tribepad) and attend Workforce Planning meetings.
  • Engage with station staff and community partners to broaden talent pipelines.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns in high‑volume or complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult and advise on recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and core HR systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, including Right to Work checks.
  • Ability to interpret recruitment data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary: £36,873 per annum (36‑hour working week). Hybrid role – in‑office two days per week with flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
