Junior Technical Coordinator

Konnect Recruit is working with a leading UK house builder who are looking to appoint a Junior Technical Coordinator to join their growing technical team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within residential development and house building, supporting the delivery of high-quality housing developments from planning through to construction.

You will work closely with the Technical Manager and wider project team, assisting with the coordination of design consultants and technical information across multiple residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the coordination of architectural, engineering and specialist consultants

* Review drawings and technical information prior to issue to site teams

* Support the discharge of planning conditions and statutory approvals

* Assist with building regulations and NHBC submissions

* Ensure technical drawings and documents are issued in line with programme

* Liaise with internal teams including construction, commercial and planning

* Attend and support design team meetings

Requirements

* Degree / HNC / HND in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or similar

* Some experience within house building, residential development, architecture practice or engineering consultancy (placements or graduate experience considered)

* Understanding of the technical design process within construction

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work within a fast-paced project team
