Service Engineer; Municipal

Location: Field-based to cover across the UK

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours a week

• Conduct on‑site preventive and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments.
• Provide after‑sales technical and commercial support to clients, gathering feedback for product development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and fault find to keep systems running smoothly.
• Work flexible on‑call rota, including weekends and public holidays as required.

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the municipal market; knowledge of sewage and drinking water treatment sites.
• NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering (or working towards); not essential but ideal.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills and experience handling challenging conversations.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills; ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
• A punctual, presentable professional who values customer satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
