Overview
Graduate and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Placement Scheme at St John the Baptist School across Surrey secondary schools.
Responsibilities- Assist classroom teachers during lessons, explaining concepts individually or in small groups.
- Offer tailored support to students who require additional support to reach their full potential.
- Assist in marking assessments or homework, providing feedback to students where appropriate.
- Assist in setting up lesson resources, activities, or classroom displays.
- Observe and report on student behaviour and progress, helping to identify areas where students may need additional help.

Fixed Term - Salary
: £19,506 (FTE £23,322) - Hours:
35 pw (Full-time) - Start date:
1 September 2026 - End date: 31 July 2027
- Additional 3‑week internship during June/July 2026 subject to availability
Interviews will be held at St John the Baptist School. If successful, applicants will be put in touch with a local secondary school to discuss placement details.
