Overview

Beaufort Primary School are looking to recruit Classroom Support Staff for a fixed term contract until July 2026.

Contract & Salary
  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract until July 2026, Part Time, Term Time only (37 weeks)
  • Salary: Grade S3.2; for 32.08 hours actual salary £17,691 (FTE £24,330); for 30.83 hours actual salary £17,002 (FTE £24,330)
Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher to support children within the classroom and through small group and one to one work.
  • Run personalised programmes and interventions for children targeted for extra support.
  • Supervise the class in the short term absence of the teacher.
  • Provide lunchtime supervision.
Qualifications
  • Recent experience an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Hardworking, committed, highly positive and able to use initiative.
  • Adaptable, creative and able to communicate well with adults and children.
  • Understand how to nurture and develop the whole child whilst maintaining high expectations and standards.
  • Good levels of Maths and English are absolutely essential.
