About our Clients

Near Chertsey and Woking, our clients very established Nursery are looking for a senior practitioner for a room based Deputy Manager role - initially a maternity cover post. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this growing provider. Working 40 hrs this role is offering a salary c £34000 plus with great benefits, onsite parking and on good transport links.

What are Clients are looking for

• Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years / Childcare.
• At least 3 years experience of working within a day nursery
• Experience of a management role, in leading and supporting a teams.
• Understanding of the Ofsted Requirements and up to date knowledge of all changes in Ofsted or the Curriculum
• A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing the best start in life.
• A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
• Form bonds with children and their families, ensuring each child feels secure and supported.
• Team Player with excellent communication skills, the ability to give and receive feedback, and a positive, proactive approach.
• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
