Software Engineer, C++ Developer
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site multiple times a year.
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C or Ada. Experience with Script languages (C Shell, Perl). Experience developing software with agile methodology in a team-based environment. Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Exposure to radar software development and/or radar concepts
- Proven experience with current Missile defense programs with specific experience in large, complex systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
- Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems
- Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions
