Bi-lingual Family Resources Case Manager

Overview

Finding a home for a child in need is extremely rewarding. The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.08 per hour, depending on education and experience. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional nights and weekends and flexibility to accommodate these extended hours. This is a hybrid position with an office located in Woburn, MA, serving homes in neighboring communities.

Mileage reimbursement is paid for travel outside of your normal commute. $1000 Sign-on Bonus.

• Support a therapeutic foster care program by recruiting, assessing, selecting, training, licensing, and re-licensing therapeutic foster homes.
• Actively recruit foster families and ensure homes remain in compliance with licensing standards.
• Support the re-licensing process and conduct regular home visits throughout neighboring communities (Lawrence, Taunton, Lynn, Fall River, Brockton, Billerica, Dracut).
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families through a compassionate, culturally responsive approach.
• Maintain strong organization and knowledge of foster care procedures and programs.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish; strong understanding of the Massachusetts foster care system; solid case management experience.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver s license with a good driving record (required)
• Bachelor s degree in a Human Services related field (required)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
• At least two years of related experience with children and families (required)
• Virtual Gateway knowledge (preferred)
• Must have a valid Social Work license, or obtain within 6 months of hire (minimum LSWA)
• Must be able to attend new hire paid orientation (Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 8AM–4PM, in Rutland, MA)
