Retail Solar Specialist

Overview

As an Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for engaging with customers in a Lowe's retail location to promote our solar energy solutions. Your primary goal is to schedule appointments for our solar consultants by effectively communicating the benefits of solar energy and our services.

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and our products.
• Identify potential customers and assess their interest in solar solutions.
• Schedule appointments for interested customers with our solar consultants.
• Maintain a positive relationship with Lowe's staff and management.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and appointments.
• Achieve weekly and monthly appointment‑setting targets.

• Sales experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic and approachable personality.
• Basic knowledge of solar energy is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable transportation for travel to multiple store locations and occasional team meetings in our branch office.
• Ability to work 1‑2 weekend days per week.

• $17 per hour plus an uncapped commission structure with bonus potential.
• On‑target performance earns approximately $62,000 per year or $29.50 per hour.
