Our client, a highly successful law firm, is looking for an attorney with expertise in estate settlement matters to join their team. This role focuses on probate and trust administration, requiring strong case management abilities and direct client engagement. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with colleagues and delivering exceptional legal support.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)

Schedule:

In-Office M-F

Responsibilities:

+ Manage all aspects of probate administration, from petition through final distribution.

+ Administer revocable and irrevocable trusts, including asset collection, accounting, and distributions.

+ Advise fiduciaries (personal representatives, trustees) on legal duties and compliance.

+ Prepare and review probate pleadings, trust documents, accountings, and related filings.

+ Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel.

+ Ensure matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with Massachusetts law.

+ Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 2+ years of experience handling estate settlement matters.

+ Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

+ Licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar.

+ Strong knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaboratively.

+ Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach.
