The Technical Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the onboarding and operational deployment of customers into secure, compliance regulated cloud environments. This role manages the full lifecycle of technical implementation from initial kickoff through production go live and transition into steady state operations.
The position requires strong experience guiding customers through compliance driven cloud deployments, particularly within FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 regulated environments. The Technical Implementation Manager coordinates closely with engineering, site reliability engineering, security operations, compliance, and network operations teams to ensure customer environments are secure, auditable, and operationally ready.
This role serves as the primary point of coordination between customer technical teams and internal operational teams. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex technical implementations in regulated cloud environments and understands how operational, security, and compliance requirements intersect within modern cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities Customer Implementation and Onboarding- Lead the end to end onboarding lifecycle for customers deploying into regulated cloud environments, from project kickoff through production deployment and operational transition.
- Guide customers through compliance aligned onboarding processes ensuring environments meet required security, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness standards.
- Coordinate customer onboarding activities across engineering, site reliability engineering, network operations, security operations, and compliance teams.
- Establish and manage onboarding meeting cadence with clear agendas, milestones, and accountability across all stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed implementation plans covering multiple work streams including system integration, access models, monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response readiness.
- Track deliverables, dependencies, and risks throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Identify potential operational, security, or compliance risks and elevate issues while driving mitigation plans.
- Ensure implementation timelines and milestones are achieved while maintaining regulatory and operational standards.
- Act as a trusted technical and operational advisor to customers throughout the implementation process.
- Help customers understand the shared responsibility model within regulated cloud environments.
- Facilitate technical discussions including architecture reviews, operational workflows, runbook development, and security processes.
- Coordinate technical deep dives and readiness reviews prior to production deployment.
- Ensure customer environments are properly integrated into operational workflows including monitoring, alerting, escalation paths, and incident response processes.
- Confirm alignment with operational service level agreements, incident management procedures, and change management standards.
- Validate that all onboarding artifacts and documentation are complete, accurate, and auditable.
- Support the transition from implementation into steady state operations without loss of context between teams.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing complex technical implementations or programs within regulated or compliance driven environments.
- Direct experience supporting or onboarding customers into FedRAMP authorized, government, or highly regulated cloud platforms.
- Experience working alongside site reliability engineering, network operations, or security operations teams in production environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
