Senior Strategist, AI & Customer Innovation

The Senior Strategist, AI & Customer Innovation, is a senior client facing advisor responsible for helping organizations navigate AI adoption and define the strategy required to unlock measurable business value. This role blends executive advisory, solution strategy, and innovation leadership, guiding clients from vision to actionable roadmaps while accelerating downstream adoption of Presidio's solutions and services.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy and emerging technology, the Senior Strategist translates complex AI concepts into practical, achievable plans that align with customer priorities and Presidio's technical capabilities.

Major Responsibilities Client Strategy & Advisory
  • Lead executive level workshops, discovery sessions, and strategic engagements to define AI driven business objectives and identify high value use cases.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on AI, generative technologies, and emerging trends, providing thought leadership and strategic counsel.
Roadmap & Solution Strategy
  • Develop comprehensive AI roadmaps, maturity assessments, business cases, and strategic architectures aligned with Presidio capabilities.
  • Translate client needs into clear strategic requirements for downstream solutioning, delivery, and adoption.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Partner with Sales, Solution Architects, Engineering, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions from strategy to implementation.
  • Contribute to internal methodologies, playbooks, frameworks, and best practices for AI strategy and innovation.
  • Support development of customer facing assets, POVs, and strategic narrative materials.
Engagement Oversight & Value Realization
  • Provide strategy centric leadership within select technical engagements to ensure alignment to desired business outcomes.
  • Guide clients on responsible AI principles, data readiness, and governance frameworks.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 10+ years in technology strategy, consulting, business architecture, or presales advisory roles. (Consulting experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated 4+ years' experience developing AI, digital transformation, or data driven strategies.
  • Proven success facilitating executive conversations and influencing decision making.
Technical Competencies
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and enterprise data strategies.
  • Strong understanding of strategic and operational governance, responsible AI practices, and organizational change management.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new concepts, understand their core technical pillars, and understand the business impact of emerging technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex technologies into clear business value narratives.
Core Skills
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship building capabilities and cross functional collaboration.
  • Ability to lead ambiguous conversations and structure complex problem spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Data Science, Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications in AI/ML, cloud architecture, design thinking, or enterprise architecture.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services organizations.

  • Number and quality of strategy engagements and workshops delivered.
  • Workshop conversion rate to opportunities and pipeline influence.
  • Executive satisfaction and strategic account penetration.
Lagging Indicators
  • Revenue influenced from AI and emerging technology services.
  • Client adoption of recommended strategies and Presidio solutions.
  • Growth in targeted strategic accounts.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid or remote, depending on region and client needs.
