onsite – 5 days a week in Woburn, MA | Hourly rate: $50-60/hr

Job Summary

The Sr HR Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing comprehensive HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle. This role partners with managers to deliver HR programs, support workforce planning, ensure compliance, and drive employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior HR generalist, advising and coaching managers on employee relations, performance management, engagement, retention, and development.
  • Lead and support the rollout of annual HR programs, including performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys, and training initiatives.
  • Provide consultative guidance on talent acquisition, including workforce planning, offer analysis, and recruitment of key roles.
  • Ensure workforce headcount aligns with AOP and long-term workforce plans.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Support change management initiatives tied to organizational effectiveness, HR transformation, and adoption of HR systems and shared services.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both physical and electronic.
  • Support HR integration activities for acquisitions, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of HR generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR function.
  • Strength in knowledge and understanding of HR processes and systems.
  • PHR or SPHR certification (nice to have).
  • Success Factors Employee Central system experience (nice to have).
