Billing Specialist

Overview

A growing services company in the Woburn area is seeking a high-volume Billing & Collections Specialist to join their fast-growing, multi-state organization. This role will handle approximately 4,000 transactions per month across various systems and payer types. Ideal candidates are process-oriented, systems-savvy, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Location: Woburn, MA (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base + quarterly bonus

• Process and submit high-volume billing accurately and on time
• Investigate denials, resolve unpaid balances, and resubmit claims
• Maintain detailed billing and collections records
• Communicate with payors and internal teams to resolve issues
• Identify process improvements and support ad hoc projects

• 1–2+ years of billing/collections experience
• High-volume billing experience required
• Multi-state, reimbursement, or Medicaid billing exposure a plus
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Organized, proactive, and collaborative

Associate’s required;
Bachelor’s preferred
