Engineered Systems, Inc. is searching for a qualified Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join our Woburn, MA office. This exciting and challenging position requires an engineer who is highly motivated and knowledgeable with Plumbing Codes and NFPA.
Duties:- Work closely with HVAC and Electrical departments to coordinate plans and specifications.
- Determine scope of projects by identifying construction or renovation requirements, studying requirements, developing concepts and presenting sketches.
- Develop Construction Documents by designing layout and generating specifications for Plumbing and Sprinkler systems.
- Oversee construction by monitoring construction as compared to drawings and specifications, solving design/construction problems.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts State Plumbing Code, ADA Requirements, NFPA Guidelines.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Have experience designing both Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for commercial projects.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Hybrid work week - Remote Monday and Fridays, In the office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
