Raytheon's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer, Test Automation Lead Engineer as part of the Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of scripts, tools, and tests to support radar software regression testing.
What You Will Do
* Add capabilities, improve, and maintain an automated radar software test & analysis suite in MATLAB.
* Develop and utilize a user interface to present analyzed radar software data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, testing, and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of capabilities.
* Perform analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
* Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
* Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and customers.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teammates, stakeholders, and customers. Qualifications You Must Have
* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
* Experience with MATLAB, data analysis, and/or test script development.
* Experience with systems integration, system test, and/or system verification. Qualifications We Prefer
* Advanced Degree in a related field.
* Experience with radar analysis, system performance assessment, or algorithm design.
* Experience developing in Linux, Unix, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.
* Experience with agile development methods and working in a team environment to provide solutions to challenging technical problems.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
