Salary Range: 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD

• Develop and implement model‑based solutions that support mission trade studies and performance simulations.
• Contribute knowledge of performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems.
• Collaborate in a team environment receiving input from program or team experts.
• Evaluate end‑to‑end system requirements to understand interfaces and data connectivity across military kill‑chains.
• Analyze data to understand performance requirements.
• Develop analytical metrics to validate proposed architectures against requirements and shape future tech growth.
• Develop or implement algorithms to provide next‑generation performance across entire system of systems.

• Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience modeling and/or simulating physical systems.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.

• Advanced Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Active Secret or Top Secret DoD clearance.
• Knowledge of the system engineering life‑cycle model.
• Experience in data analysis and statistics with large volumes of data.
• Experience conducting analyses and studies, including defining and executing a study.
• Experience evaluating new concepts of operation and developing new technology use cases.
• Demonstrated technical and analytical skills to develop credible results for presenting to the customer.
• Experience in concepts such as Concept of Operations (CONOPS), system tradeoffs, threat definitions, and system of system assessments.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD – 164,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
