Early Education Teacher

Overview

Launch & Learn is a locally owned Early Childhood Education and Care Company. We currently have two centers in the Greater Boston area. We are looking for passionate and motivated teachers to join our team.

At Launch & Learn we offer early education and care to children ages six weeks to kindergarten age. Teachers are responsible for aiding children in accomplishing the goals and objectives laid out in Teaching Strategies. We are play based and encourage teachers to design their own weekly curriculum with their teammates. We observe children to determine their current passions and interests, and use these topics to keep children engaged in learning.

Our teachers prepare fun and educational activities to help children develop necessary skills for their future.

We are looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy interactions with children. A sense of humor is a must. We also have supportive parents, and the partnership between teachers and parents helps create the best environment for children to thrive.

Our model is to have three teachers per classroom to improve the quality of care and provide the necessary support throughout the day. Teachers may need to step out to plan, obtain supplies, or use the restroom as needed.

We are seeking an EEC Certified Teacher to join our team.

• Must be energetic, nurturing, creative, and passionate about early education.
• Must have the ability to work with a team in developing reciprocal relationships with families and be able to design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.

• EEC Certified Teacher, have or are interested in working toward an Associate Degree and/or a BA in Early Childhood or a related field.
• Have at least three years of classroom experience.
