Machine Print Operator

We are actively hiring for the position of Machine Print Operator for our plant in Wixom, MI.

2nd Shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm)

The Machine Operator is responsible for printing various print jobs and operating different types of press machines. The Machine Operator prepares a “make ready” batch for every print job that is run. During each run, the Print Operator will ensure that the image color and alignment stay consistent to meet the quality expectations.

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day.
• Perform daily maintenance on print equipment.
• Use large-format equipment to meet client product specifications.
• Check orders on computers using the company's database.
• Communicate with the management team to ensure all duties assigned are completed.
• Ensure a clean and orderly work area.
• Report all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Communicate equipment and material problems with management in a timely manner.

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to safely use warehouse equipment (i.e., pallet jack).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Good problem‑solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Ability to understand English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers.
• Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.
• Ability to multitask with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
