Production Operator

Reports to:

Site Leader

Job Purpose

The production operator fills bags with fiberglass.

Job Responsibilities

* Production consists of filling bags with fiberglass

* Varied duties of lifting, using basic tools, and material handling

* Continuously monitor machine operation and material flow to ensure productivity and quality

* Move totes, stock bags, empty trash on an as needed basis

* Perform other related duties as assigned by the site leader

Job Requirements

* Must be able to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions relating to safety, quality, and production

* PPE is required - safety toe shoes or boots (safety glasses and ear plugs will be provided)

* Maintain a safe, neat, and clean work environment including work area and equipment

* Must be able to stand in one area for extended periods of time, performing repetitive tasks

* Forklift experience is preferred

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Must be able to perform basic math skills

* Read, write, and comprehend English

* Must be able to work independently and as a team

* Must be able to lift 30 lbs

* Ability to work scheduled shift based on production needs determined by the site leader
