Plant Engineer

The Engineer is responsible for optimizing production processes and improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality. By applying a deep understanding of product design, material properties, production equipment, and process requirements, this role designs and implements efficient, cost‑effective manufacturing solutions. The Engineer ensures that every stage—from raw materials to finished products—meets established quality standards, operational requirements, and cost‑control objectives.

• Develop detailed process flow charts based on product design requirements, including raw material preparation, processing steps, and quality checkpoints.
• Continuously optimize existing processes by introducing new technologies and methods to reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
• Evaluate new processes and materials, conduct trial validations, and prepare process improvement reports.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, support breakdown repairs, and maintain facility infrastructure to ensure stable production operations.

• Prepare and maintain production process documents, work instructions, and quality control standards to ensure standardized and traceable operations.
• Conduct regular process training to enhance operator skills and ensure consistent implementation of process standards.
• Provide immediate technical support to resolve production issues and maintain stable line operation.
• Participate in product quality issue analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions to reduce defect rates.

• Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
• Analyze defects and implement corrective measures.
• Manage 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) changes to ensure smooth production.
• Develop inspection procedures, inspection instructions, and manage related documentation and measuring tools.
• Track industry trends and evaluate the application potential of new technologies and processes.
• Promote Lean Production, Six Sigma, and other management tools to enhance manufacturing capability and operational excellence.

• Strict Adherence: Comply with company quality management system requirements, ensuring all process activities meet standards such as ISO 9001.
• Quality Audits: Regularly review process documents to ensure accuracy and proper production guidance.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish quality feedback mechanisms and optimize processes based on internal and external audit results.

• Majors:
  Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Automation, or related fields

• 5+ years of relevant experience; automotive industry experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with material properties
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Knowledge of machining processes
• Understanding of Lean Production principles

• Strong understanding of process flows and product special characteristics
