Position:
Senior Sales/Sales Engineer– Automotive Lighting
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
(Commensurate with experience)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a senior-level Sales Manager with strong experience in the automotive industry and in-vehicle lighting systems. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and strengthening long-term relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, proven leadership in sales, and the ability to work closely with executive management to expand the company’s market presence in North America.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute mid- to long-term sales and business strategies for automotive lighting products
- Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets
- Build, manage, and expand strong relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 customers
- Act as a strategic partner to customers by understanding their technical and business needs
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to deliver effective customer solutions
- Prepare and present sales performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management
- Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, competitive landscape, and new automotive lighting technologies
- Support and mentor junior sales team members as needed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive sales industry, preferably in a senior or managerial role
- Hands‑on experience and knowledge of in‑vehicle / automotive lighting systems
- Strong understanding of automotive industry regulations, standards, and sales processes
- Proven ability to drive the full sales cycle from strategic planning through deal closure
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at all organizational levels
- Strong business acumen with the ability to make data‑driven decisions
- Experience working with North American automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
- Background in launching new products or developing new automotive markets
- Experience working in a global or cross‑cultural business environment
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Work Location:
Hybrid (on‑site presence required)
